Chief Palaver throw blanket
The sacred drum
Mischievous Ababio, causing all the palaver between the villages
In a vibrant village square, two imposing Fante chiefs faced off, each blaming the other for a missing sacred drum. "Ah, Chief Kofi," chuckled Chief Kwame, "I heard you drumming last night—out of rhythm as usual!" The villagers and the laughing doves flying above all roared with laughter. Kofi retorted, "Better than your singing! The gods must be deaf now!" Amidst the laughter, the drum was found in the clutches of a mischievous monkey. The monkey took flight as usual, enjoying the commotion.
